Maureen McKenna was the Executive Director of Education at Glasgow City Council. With a career spanning over 40 years, Maureen began as a maths teacher before becoming one of Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Education. She has led significant education transformation in Glasgow, particularly in raising attainment in areas of high deprivation. Maureen is also the founder of Malawi Leaders of Learning, a project focused on improving education and supporting teachers in Malawi.
